ATTENDANCE POLICY
Attendance at scheduled therapy appointments is critical for you or your child improving the presenting concerns. Inconsistent attendance will significantly impact progress towards goals and improvement in functioning. Milestone Health Partners has a strict attendance and cancellation policy to ensure quality of care for our patients.
For patients who have a plan of care that is scheduled for 8+ weeks, it is expected that the patient attends at least 75% of scheduled appointments. If attendance drops below 75% of scheduled appointments, then the patient’s plan of care will be modified which can include moving to flexible scheduling, changing schedule of recurring appointments, or discontinuing from services at Milestone Health Partners.
For patients who have a plan of care that is scheduled for less than 8 weeks, it is expected that the patient will not have more than two canceled or no show appointments in a row. Patients will be discharged from services at Milestone Health Partners if two cancelations or no show appointments occur in a row.
